About Me

I graduated from Penn State University in 1998 with a major of Communication Science and Disorders, and a minor in Health and Human Development.  In 2000, I received my Masters degree in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh.  I am currently licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland (license #4526).  I am also a current member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (www.asha.org).

I worked for the Early Intervention program (ages 3-5) at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Pennsylvania.  After relocating to Maryland, I worked for the Anne Arundel County Public School system with children ages 15 months through elementary school.  I also work for a contract agency providing outpatient therapy to clients ages 2 years through adult as well as providing per diem nursing home coverage.

I have completed trainings in Hanen (providing parent education for toddlers with language delays), oral motor strengthening, stuttering, neurogenic language disorders, phonological awareness, and reading comprehension.
